Hooyos Garden

Hooyo is the Somali word for mum, and in this body of work, I wanted to celebrate my beautiful family by documenting the simple joys of being home in our garden. The garden has watched us grow up, and in turn, we’ve seen it bloom and outgrow its boundaries, showering us with petals every spring.
